My thoughts
This was exactly the kind of psychological thriller I enjoy—full of secrets, unreliable characters, and constant suspense. Every chapter made me question who was telling the truth, and I kept changing my mind about who I could trust.
The atmosphere was one of my favorite parts. The isolated setting created a feeling of unease that never really disappeared, making every revelation feel even more intense.
I was relieved that Robin turned out to be much less dark than I had feared. Amelia, on the other hand, was a character I found difficult to sympathize with, and by the end I felt strangely relieved that she was no longer standing between the others.
The twists were satisfying, and although everything became very dark near the end, it fit the story well. I enjoyed being constantly surprised without feeling completely lost.
